Standing in front of the opaque portal
   gazing past the lives beyond
Forgetting why I originally came here
   and why her name was to me so fond
"You can never have him", they said
   but you refused to listen, my black dove
And when came the time to make a choice
   you took a stand and you chose love
Forget-me-not, anemone, lily
   rosemary, parsley and thyme
